1.Publication of District at glance every year collecting information from all departments.
2.Inspection of Births and Deaths units & inspection of Births & Deaths Statistical Data maintained in taluk & Municipal Offices.
3.Collecting of 20% crop abracts written by village accounts every Year out of total Revenue villages & inspection of Phani. Preparing estimates of Principal crops and reconciliation of crops with various departments.
4.Preparing of Plan of experiments of villages/crops under crop insurance / crop estimation survey for conducting crop experiments in every taluks of the district. Appointing the basic workers from the deparments of revenue, agriculture, watershed, horticulture and rural development, panchayathraj departments and giving suitable training to those basic workers, guiding, supervising and also sending the results of crop cutting experiments to the head office.
5.Collecting and scruitinising rainfall reports from all the rainguage stations of the district and sending the same to the concerned departments. collecting and scruitinising the retail rates of food grains and agriculture wages from 10 villages for every month and sending the same to the head office.
6.Conducing the national sample survey work for the selected object for every year under central assisted scheme.
7.Managing and supervising of agriculture census and economic census and also other census works completely which will conduct every 5 year.
