Special component plan

Supply of fisheries requisites like cycle, crates, weighing balance and nets worth Rs. 5000/- each free of cost.

The beneficiaries has to submit an application along with photos and recommendation letter from the concerned T.P.member. Taluk Panchayat committee will give the approval for the beneficiaries list and E.O. Taluk Panchayat will give the sanction for implementation of the scheme.  The A.D.F(Grade-2) at the taluk will implement the scheme.

Assistance to inland fisheries –Fish seed production, rearing & distribution

Fish seed  production, rearing & distribution activities will be conducted under this scheme. 

Fish farmers/culturists can purchase different varieties of fish seed from Bethamangala fish seed production farm.

Assistance to fisher-men for fish marketing - Mathsyavahini

50% subsidy on unit cost of Rs.4000/- will be given to the fishermen for purchase of fish marketing equipments such as cycle, crates,weighing balance, etc.,

The beneficiaries has to submit an application to concerned taluka   A.D.F(Grade-2) along with their photos, recommendation from the concerned Z.P.member  and material purchase bill for Rs.4000/-

Construction of Fisheries Buildings, Maintainces & Providing amenities .- 

Construction and repairs of Department buildings , fish farms and nurseries will be undertaken in this scheme.

Exhibition & Training

Aquarium maintenance at Kolar and participation with exhibits in public exhibitions and processions.

Aquarium will be opened for public in the office timings on all working days.  Entrance fee for Children Rs.2-00 and for Adults Rs.5-00 will be charged.

Subsidy for purchase of fish seed

50% subsidy for purchase of fish seed with maximum limit of Rs.5000/- per individual and Rs. 20,000/- per societies /organizations will be given.

The beneficiaries should submit the application  along with the following documents to the concerned A.D.F(Grade-2) at the taluks
  1.Fish seed should be purchased from   
    Govt. farms/Z.p farms and KCFF    
    Mysore farms
2.Lease order copy/lease amount paid
    receipts to be produced for claiming                  
    Subsidy.
3.Bills for having purchased
    Fish seed to be produced.

Distribution of fisheries kits

Free distribution of fishing equipments such as fishing nets, coracles, etc., with unit cost of Rs.5000/- each.

Proof for having engaged in fisheries ctivities, like Tank lease order/lease amount paid receipts/fishing license /any other proofs or a certificate from the local elected members saying that the person is engaged in the fisheries activities is to be produced along with the application with photos to the concerned A.D.F (Grade-2.) at the taluk.

Assistance for for fishermen for purchase of life saving equip-ments

Life saving equipments such as life jackets and life buoy will be supplied to fishermen on subsidy basis. Under the scheme 90% subsidy for S.C/S.T beneficiaries and 75% subsidy for general  beneficiaries will be given to the unit cost of Rs.4000/-

The beneficiaries should submit the application along with the following documents to the concerned A.D.F(Grade-2) at the taluk.

  1. Beneficiaries contribution of 10% to 25% amount through DD is to be  submitted along with application.
  2. Caste certificate is to be produced in case of S.C/S.T

Suvarnabhoomi

Encouraging the small/marginal farmers to take up fish culture activity by constructing fish pond on their own land to the extent of 100 sq.meters if it is new tank or 150 sq.meters renovated tank if tank already exists.  The tanks should have 2 meters depth and minimum water depth of one meter.  The beneficiary will get Rs.10,000/- subsidy in two installments. The first installment of Rs.5000/- will be paid on the selection of the beneficiary.  The second installment of Rs.5000/- will be paid on completion of the pond to their Bank accounts through cheque.

1.The farmers name should exist in
     the Revenue Departments small/
      marginal farmers list.
2. Such farmers should submit the
    application to A.D.F(Grade-2) of the
    concerned taluk /Raitha samparka
    Kendra in the prescribed format in
    the notified period.
3.Caste certificate to be enclosed in
     case of S.C/S.T beneficiaries.
4.Selection of beneficiaries will be
    done by the committee under the
    chairmanship of the Deputy  
    Commissioner.

Mathsyashraya

Financial assistance of Rs.60000/- will be provided for construction of house for the poor houseless fishermen.

  1. The beneficiaries will be selected by the committee headed by the Concerned MLA.
  2. The beneficiary should have own the site in his name and produce  respective documents.
  3. A certificate from the local authority stating that he is a fishermen and is not been allotted the house under any Govt. schemes
  4. Application in the prescribed format with joint photo of Husband and wife.
  5. Affidavit by the beneficiary

N.M.P.S. Scheme under R.K.V.Y. Program me.

Assistance to farmers for construction of fish ponds in saline, waterlogged and “D” group agriculture lands. Under this program me subsidy of Rs. 1.60 lakhs per hectare will be provided for farmers.

 

The eligible farmers having water logged, saline lands should submit application to concerned A.D.F(Grade-2) at taluk level along with the project report, plan and estimates.  On getting the prior permission from the Dept. Pond should be constructed. Subsidy will be given  after the completion report.
